Born and raised in Macau, Jose Diniz holds a degree in Hotel Management and began his hospitality career in Spain with Sheraton Hotels. In 2008, he returned to Macau, where he played a key role in the opening of both the Four Seasons Hotel Macau and later the Mandarin Oriental Macau.

Driven by a lifelong passion for wine, Jose furthered his education by completing a Master of International Wine Management in 2023 and earning the WSET Diploma in 2025. His combination of luxury hospitality experience and wine expertise has established him as a respected professional within Macau’s wine industry.

For the past eight years, Jose has been responsible for the entire Watson’s Wine Macau operation, building the business from the ground up and overseeing its growth into a fully established and successful operation. Today, as Head of Sales – Wholesale (Macau), he continues to develop strategic partnerships with key hospitality and corporate clients while promoting some of the world's most prestigious wine estates
