We are Antonio Patricelli, Co-Owner and Sales Director, and Amedeo De Luca, Co-Owner and Winemaker. We are the 3rd generation of vine growers operating in the heart of Abruzzo’s biggest production area. After our studies and several years of experience in the wine business, in 2004 we decided to put together our knowledges and experiences and we founded Collefrisio Winery. We collected our predecessor’s advices and what is offered by the nature and Abruzzo’s values. On these basis we created a young and modern company, opened to experimentation. Today we harvest and produce our Passion. Our vineyards insist on three estates for a total of more than 60 hectares, selected considering special needs of cultivation and production. In all of these properties we have microclimates which works differently with great harmony. The result is the uniqueness of each of our wines. A steady temperature range between day and night, from mid-August through grape ripening period together with the constant ventilation of the area, provided by the surroundding mountains’ pattern, is a key element to ensure an adequate state of health to the grapes throughout the growing season. Sin the beginning we decided to grow our vines following the organic cultivation regulations to bring to the consumers the best and healthiest wines possible. Every sip of our wines tells something about our vision and our land; it is always a trip in a wonderful world made of incredible smells and unforgettable savours.
