Dominique Noël joins Asia Wine Ratings as Regional & Category Expert for Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne, bringing 33 years of experience across wine buying, sommellerie, quality control, market analysis, wine education, judging and events.

His international career has taken him through Bordeaux, Paris, London, New York and Hong Kong, giving him first-hand experience of both established wine regions and some of the world’s most influential commercial wine markets.

Throughout his career, Dominique has held management and wine-buying positions across high-end restaurants, specialist wine and spirits retailers and the wine division of a major corporate group. His expertise spans wine and spirits, restaurant service, tasting, wineries, education, wine writing, quality-control systems and market analysis.

Having spent more than three decades buying, selling, serving, promoting, representing and judging wine, Dominique brings a valuable combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding to Asia Wine Ratings.

As Regional & Category Expert, he will help producers from Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne better understand how their wines are positioned and perceived within evolving Asian markets while strengthening connections between these historic French regions and the Asian wine trade.
