Alexandra Rendall joins Asia Wine Ratings as Regional Ambassador for China and Asia, bringing extensive experience across the international wine trade, business development and Asian markets.

Throughout her career in Hong Kong and Vietnam, Alexandra has worked at the intersection of wine, international business, market development and professional networking, with particular experience across mainland China and Southeast Asia.

She is the Founder of Embassy of Wine, a Hong Kong-based business connecting international wine producers with the Asian wine trade. Through this work, Alexandra engages with wineries, importers, distributors and wine professionals to identify opportunities, develop commercial relationships and navigate the complexities of doing business across different Asian markets.

Her expertise spans the commercial journey from producer to market, including brand positioning, importer and distributor relationships, portfolio development, sales, communications and professional events.

China is a particular area of expertise. Alexandra has closely followed the evolution of the Chinese wine market while developing relationships with both international and Chinese producers. Her perspective also recognises China's growing importance not only as a consumer market, but as an emerging wine-producing nation in its own right.

As Regional Ambassador, Alexandra will help strengthen Asia Wine Ratings’ engagement with the wine trade, producers and industry professionals across China and the wider Asian region, creating greater dialogue and connectivity between Asian and international wine communities.
